Lauren and Lucas Davis. And me.

Above you will see Lauren and Lucas Davis. Lauren, a young woman I grew up with. Had the same baby sitter back in the day. Back so long ago in a memory I can’t recall. But our mothers know well enough to remind us any chance they get. And Lucas, a person I look at as the younger brother I never got to have. A brainiac. And the next black president of the United States of America if that’s what he sets his mind to.
Over my many breaks from school I get to come home to a second home. The first being where my dad and step mom stay and where Lauren and Lucas reside. It’s a spot for me that makes me feel a part of a family. A stress reliever from college and many other things I can list if you asked me…

My Thanksgiving was straight, I spent it with my in-laws. They’re dope. But the next day and my final day in San Antonio I spent with these guys. I love them so much and they give me that extra motivation to be great because I want them to be proud of me. And look up to me. Like I do them, as being a great family.

Shoutout to Leo, Lisa, Lucas and Lauren. You guys mean the world to me.

Here’s to more wins and less sin.
