Baseball has been traditionally known as a gentleman’s sport, but this definitely took a turn for the worse last night. After being hit by a pitch in his last at bat in retaliation for his bat flip against the Texas Rangers in last year’s post season, Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista attempts a dangerous slide into second base on Rougned Odor and nobody saw what happened next coming.
Usually baseball skirmishes usually end in some pushing and shoving and maybe the benches cleared, but Rangers’ infielder Odor took it to the next level after a shove, he reared back and straight molly-wopped Bautista with a right hook. This was not a rookie punch, but us here at PFK do give credit to Bautista for not falling. Check out the video via Complex News of the encounter here.
